The Seminar on Seafarer Development, Education and Training will be held by Maritime Safety Administration
of the People's Republic of China (China MSA) on October 21st, in Qingdao,China.The seminar aims to exchange
the achievements of maritime education and seafarer training, recommend and dispatch Chinese seafarers
to Asian shipowners, as well as develop strategies for seafarer future development, education and training.
The main program generally consists of invited plenary and keynote speeches by leaders and experts from
relevant government departments, National Committee of Chinese Seamen & Construction Workers' Union, China
Shipowners' Association, Asian Shipowners' Forum and its Committee of Seamen, some Asian countries'
seamen's union, China Institute of Communications Education, well-known maritime institutions in Asia, and
delegates of senior captains and chief engineers. We sincerely invite the leaders, experts and scholars from maritime administrations, shipowners, seafarer
services, maritime academies, seafarer labor organizations, institutions for academic research home and
abroad and those enthusiastic in the promulgation of the Convention and seafarer development & education
to participate in the seminar. |
